Bromsgrove
In Worcestershire, Bromsgrove is south-west of the city centre of Birmingham by about (21 km) 13 miles and north-east of Worcester by (26 km) 16 miles. Along with the north Worcestershire towns, Bromsgrove to defending Worcester was committed and in 1086 to Droitwich to have contributed burgesses is recorded. Supporting small and medium sized manufacturing, Bromsgrove and the area that is outlying along Battlefield Brook and the Spadesbourne had around 14 watermills.
